Independent Custody Visitors (ICVs) are volunteers appointed by the Staffordshire Commissioner’s Office to check on the wellbeing of people held in Police custody, making regular, unannounced visits to the two custody suites in Stoke-on-Trent and Stafford throughout the year. The Staffordshire Commissioner's Office is looking for volunteers to carry out custody visits to Staffordshire Police’s Northern Area Custody Facility to check on the conditions in which a detainee is
