Work on Leek’s electricity infrastructure set to start
National Grid will be starting a programme of work to improve Leek’s electricity infrastructure at the end of this month. The first element of these essential works will start at High Street car park on Monday 27 October and will be finished by Wednesday 5 November. The car park will need to be closed whilst the work takes place. Bicycle Stolen on Ashbourne Road
A bicycle has been stolen outside of ASDA on Ashbourne Road in Cheadle on Saturday the 18th of October 2025. Theft from Land Rover Birchwood Grove Area
A green Land Rover Evoque was broken into in the Birchwood Grove area of Cheadle at approx. 4am on 20/10/2025. Male was seen to try a number of car doors before braking into the vehicle and stealing a number of items. Male was described as being tall and wearing a light coloured hooded sweat shirt.
