Ipstones Agricultural Show is an annual event, and the nearest show to Cheadle. It's a traditional show, with a lot to offer rural visitors and residents alike. It takes a good deal of organisation, and Ipstones Agricultural Society, who organise the show, are members of COG. They have a monthly meeting, generally the first Monday of each Month 8pm till 10pm. Plus one extra meeting in August as they prepare for their big event of the year.
This year's show was a spectacular mix of showring, stalls and fun. The showring, included cattle, horse and sheep, with sheepdog trials and vintage tractors delighting visitors of all ages. The marque housed perfect vegetables and flowers, rosettes were won, the sun shone, as visitors experienced a rural community at its finest.
