Connecting communities in Staffordshire Moorlands

Volunteer

Volunteering can be one of the most rewarding things we can do. Many of our members are looking for volunteers to help run activities, raise funds, and more. You might even want to help shape the news; COG is looking for proof readers, Adobe-aware creators, and administrators. It doesn't matter if it's just for a couple of hours, a corporate day, or a weekly slot—we'd be delighted to have involved!

If you would like to connect your organisation to COGNEWS and are not a local not-for-profit organisation, we've created a handy guide. You can download it below. Please contact us to discuss how we can support you and your work.

If you are a not-for-profit organisation working in the Staffordshire Moorlands you may be eligible to join Cheadle COG. All events, news and activity information is shared via this platform free of charge and we'll bring you relevant information for your group. You can find out more here

The £25 annual subscription includes not just the cost of print and posting, but any surplus goes towards the work we do with member groups across the area. COGBOXES are one of our favourite ways to connect, they give our shops and other spaces another reason for people to visit and enable people who want a printed copy of the news, a place to pick one up. Creating our print is a costly task and so we've set a cover price of £1. We understand not everyone has a pound spare and so the online news is free to visit. If you want to subscribe you can do that here.
