With motorcycle season now in full throttle, specialist officers are passing on knowledge to help bikers improve their skills and in turn their safety.

Staffordshire Police Support Motorcycle Owners with Specialist Training Sessions

BikeSafe workshops start with a morning classroom session covering topics, including motorcycle control, cornering, overtaking, filtering, junctions, hazard awareness and general rider attitude.

This is followed by an assessed ride with an advanced police motorcyclist looking at a variety of elements on A and B roads, as well as some motorway sections.

The sessions, which cost £84, run on the following Sundays at our force headquarters on Weston Road, Stafford: 18 May, 22 June, 24 August, 31 August, 7 September and 21 September.
