What is Cog?
How does COG benefit Cheadle?
Cheadle COG or Community Organisations Group is a collaboration between local churches, community leaders, charities, groups and the NHS to work together for improving and enriching services in the Cheadle Staffordshire area.
Cheadle has been a community for over 1000 years and today is a vibrant, creative, and caring town.
When organisations come together something wonderful happens, services improve, people have a better voice, residents and organisations become happier and healthier for the connection. COG exists to create those connections.
How can I get involved?
If you are an organisation or service provider you can register your organisation on this site. This will connect you to COG

If you are a resident you can see events, look for volunteering opportunities, financial support, find an organisation or and much more.
CONNECTING CHEADLE
About our work
Our Sponsors
We are very grateful to everyone who supports Cheadle COG, without their contribution we would not be able to produce this site, two monthly newspapers or create the business directory and two tourism sites we are currently working on for our town. All profits are invested in COG member projects to ensure our town gets the connectivity and services it deserves. You can find a full list of our sponsors below and a special mention to those who have sponsored this issue or page. We encourage you to support their businesses wherever you can.
News-Sheets & Other Documents
1
From COG
We believe that honesty and transparency makes us a better organisation because it enables our members and readers to better understand and support our work. Here you'll find previous additions of COGNEWS, minutes, accounts etc.
2
From Governance
We believe that good communications should always be at the heart of everything we do as a community. Here you'll find Local Authority Documents which affect our town.
3
From Members
All COG members are not for profit organisations, sometimes without the budget or structure to communicate information to guide their growth. This is a space for all members to share their important documents with the local community.
Our Supporters...
D0 You want to see a name on our supporters list?
You can do this in two ways:
Subscribe to COGNEWS in your name or as a gift subscription
Or
Volunteer on our editing, writing, member or sponsor teams
COGBOXES are one of our favourite ways to connect, they give our shops and other spaces another reason for people to visit and enable people who want a printed copy of the news, a place to pick one up. Creating our print is a costly task and so we've set a cover price of £1. We understand not everyone has a pound spare and so the online news is free to visit. If you want to subscribe you can do that here.
