Supporting young people into the future
Staffordshire County Council have launched a new website to help young people explore their options after GCSE's. The website launches to support pupils who received their results this week (21st August 2025).
The new website focuses on ensuring that all youngsters are aware of every option available to them, bringing together advice on apprenticeships, work-based learning, BTECs, A Levels, and other practical qualifications. It also includes real stories from young people who’ve taken different paths and found success.
Staffordshire County Council Leader, Ian Cooper, said, "For many families, this time of year also means getting ready for the new school term. I’d like to say well done to everyone who received their GCSE and A Level results this month. I hope you all got the results you were hoping for."
"If things didn’t go quite to plan, please remember there are still plenty of exciting opportunities available. Staffordshire is home to brilliant apprenticeship schemes with major employers like JCB, as well as many other local businesses."
