COGNEWS is delighted to inform you that important events are being planned for the town this year. Here are a few we know so far...
Party in the Park will be going full steam ahead as it has for many years, expect to see all your favourites such as the dog show, climbing wall and live music with a few surprises on the day. COGNEWS will be present too.
Cheadle Arts Festival will be taking place throughout the month of October. This year's theme is "Sharing the News", and all creative local people are encouraged to take part. Expect to see the High Street Gallery around the town, a concert from Moorlands Voices, the traditional Showcase Day, and a Lantern Parade plus much more.
VE day celebrations are being planned this year for May as we recognise the passing of 80 years. There is to be an exhibition of war-time memorabilia, talks by local expert Paul Lucas, beacon lighting and a celebratory event including our community band and community choir.
