District Council Takes Quick Action to Address Cheadle Market Safety Concerns

The stallholders at Cheadle Market have recently reported health and safety issues at the town's market square. Reports include unhealthy working conditions and unsafe stalls with nails protruding and missing planks. They reached out to Dave Evans, who organised craftsmen in record time to address the issues.

The gentlemen seen in the photo did a wonderful job for the stallholders, which is greatly appreciated, especially as we approach the festive Christmas season, a time when the market is bustling with activity and visitors. We have been assured that the market square will now be included in the cleaning rota too, and a number of special markets are taking place to encourage visitors and for residents to shop local.
