The Arts Festival is a wonderful chance to dive into the world of creativity and express yourself through various artistic endeavours. With a wide range of activities happening all around Cheadle, this festival offers you the chance to discover an array of exciting artistic events.
We have carefully planned a series of engaging workshops and events throughout the festival period. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned artist, there’s something for everyone, so don’t hesitate to join in the fun by registering now!

Lantern making workshops & parade
26th October, parade through town from 6pm.
Cheadle Arts has been working closely with OUTSIDE to bring this spectacular finale to the Arts Festival. Get the max out of this event by making one of your own lanterns at our workshops:
Come to one of the public workshops and learn how to build a willow-and-paper hanging lantern, and then join us for the parade! Carry your lantern with us as we wind our way through the streets of Cheadle in a bright and shining show of lights, music and community!
Free public workshop are taking place at the Wellspring Methodist Church in Cheadle (no booking required):
9th October (2pm-7pm)
14th October (2pm-7pm)
26th October (4pm-6pm, parade begins at 6pm)
