Cheadle Walking Routes are Being Restored!

Following our report on the successful reopening of Cheadle 38 footpath, we can further report that after a meeting between Councillor Charlesworth and Persimmon Homes on the 9th of January, an agreement was reached that Cheadle 39 footpath will be open to the public within 3-4 weeks.

Our photo shows a gravel footpath already under construction. The hard path will extend from the Donkey Lane area to Cheltenham Avenue. From there, foliage will be cut back, enabling the footpath to be open to Tay Close, which is the connection to Cheadle 38 footpath and the open countryside beyond.

We hope that residents and visitors take up the opportunity to enjoy this restored feature of our town.
