Burton Library Exhibition, 8 Sept - 4 Oct

Earth Narratives is a multi-location display of texts and imagery platforming the voices of women from Burton upon Trent and surrounding areas, created with poet Hafsah Aneela Bashir.

Celebrating Women's Voices: The Earth Narratives Exhibition

Workshops have been taking place with Burton Women’s Collective during May & June at Burton Library to explore local green spaces through walking and writing. Throughout September the women’s bold and reflective words will be presented on billboards across the town and within an accompanying exhibition at Burton Library. Experience their personal and collective stories, rooted in nature, spirituality, community and place.

Earth Narratives was commissioned by the National Forest and developed with Burton Women’s Collective, with support from Staffordshire County Council Libraries and Arts Service and public funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
