The JCB Pothole Pro has returned to the district on a mission to help patch up the area’s potholes and prepare roads for surface treatments.

Pothole Pro returns to the Moorlands

The machine provides a 3-in-1 repair solution designed to cut, crop, and clean potholes and patches. By fixing defects and improving road quality, the county council aims to deliver better services for residents. 


The machine is primarily used to fix defects before the roads undergo a preventative surface treatment. This process is designed to prolong the life of the roads. It has recently been deployed on Leek Road, Moorville, between Roughcote Lane to approximately the 30 mph speed limit at Cellarhead.
