Mum Where's The Changing Rooms?

As the fiasco of the Churchill Road Recreation Ground development continues, our resident cartoonist asks one of the questions on residents' minds.

It is our understanding that the two local councils involved in developing the space made the decision not to include changing facilities, even though they have been asked for at the ground. Cheadle Town Council, under the leadership of Cllr Paulette Upton, has recently developed the changing rooms at Tean Road Recreation Ground at an as yet undisclosed sum.

Churchill Road Recreation Ground once had thriving football facilities, and in a World Cup year, with our women's game being both successful and popular, many people are wondering why they didn't take the opportunity to rebuild old facilities and make them fit for future football fans?
