Cheadle Flower Club met at the Oakley Room, Guild Hall to enjoy a Christmas workshop presented by the very talented Chairman, Sheila Jones.

Sheila demonstrated a door-hanging wreath arrangement using a mixture of Christmas foliage, ribbons, and bells to create a wonderful display for doors. Members and visitors all produced unique and beautiful pieces, with each one being a very individual stunning door hanging.
All enjoyed tea, coffee, and mince pies halfway through the evening, allowing everyone to enjoy and show their arrangements.
Sheila then demonstrated a landscape scene she had produced for the Flower Arranger magazine, available to buy countrywide, again demonstrating her many talents and skills. Everyone was provided with reindeer, baubles, candles, and foliage to produce their own displays, enabling the creation of unique arrangements.
The evening provided lots of fun, laughter, and creativity for all who attended.
The Cheadle President, Elizabeth Rushton, gave the vote of thanks to Sheila for all her hard work and preparation for a wonderful and inspiring evening.
The next meeting is Wednesday, 21st January 2026, which will be the Annual General Meeting and social evening, 7:30 pm at The Oakley Room, Guild Hall, Tape Street, Cheadle. Everyone is most welcome to attend and can be assured of a warm welcome.
