King Charles III Coronation Emblem 2023

The Coronation Emblem

The coronation emblem is intended for use by charities, companies, and individuals for celebrations to mark His Majesty The King's coronation in 2023. This includes commercial use, merchandise, and advertising. If you want to include this design for your celebrations you can, with relatively few exceptions, (see the link below). You can add it to your banners, shirts, bunting, etc., speaking as a designer I think it's quite lovely.

The design was created by Sir Jony Ive with his creative collective LoveFrom. The official emblem celebrates the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III. The emblem is created with the flora of the four nations of the United Kingdom: the rose for England, the thistle for Scotland, the daffodil for Wales, and the shamrock for Northern Ireland. These natural forms combine to describe St Edward’s Crown, used for the coronation of British monarchs.

The official emblem may be used on all souvenirs and merchandise commemorating the Coronation, and across digital and social media. A separate guidance note on the use of the Coronation Emblem is available on the Royal website www.royal.uk/coronation-emblem

Here are the colour choices:

Coronation Emblem Charles III Original

King Charles III Blue Coronation Emblem 2023

King Charles III Coronation Emblem Red & Pink

Black & White Coronation King Charles III Emblem

There is also a white version.

You can download the English versions, from our file share page - Coronation/From the Palace. In the From the Palace folder, you'll find guidelines for usage, large and small file size folders, with vector and raster file versions in each folder, and in the official colours too. Lots of choices! Getting your head around which file to use can be tricky. The actual size of the large emblem is 140 x 140mm approximately. It's not huge so if you are going to create something big big do check the quality before you print. The simple or small versions are perfect for badges etc. The .png filetype is the one to use if you want to add an image, say to your social media and the pdf is what you'll need if you are going to a commercial printer. Note the gap around the image, don't put anything in that when you are creating or printing, this is how the palace wants it to look.

Please comment below if you would like us to add the Welsh version apologies if we've offended anyone by not including it at this stage, we are still learning what our members want.

A visit from our King?

We thought you might like to have our new monarch at your celebration, and so we've added this as a special addition to the Bliss Boutique.
