Celebrate Black Victorians at Brampton Museum in a free creative, cultural family day that celebrates the diverse Black presences in 19th and early 20th Century Staffordshire, and Britain.


Celebrating Black Victorians at Brampton Museum

Working in partnership with Kwanzaa Collective UK, the day at Brampton Museum will feature a short film screening, movement workshop and keynote performance lecture from globally respected Creative Director and Choreographer Jeanefer Jean-Charles MBE. There will be a pop-up exhibition, workshops, talks, living history and creativity for all ages to enjoy. 12-5pm


This event will take place inside Brampton Museum with seating available.


There is no need to book but do get in touch if there is anything the museum can do to make the event more accessible for you.


Refreshments: A range of hot food, cakes and drinks will be available to purchase from the Little Vintage Tea Room.
