2026 Local Tourism Awards Now Open for Entries

Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent Tourism Awards competition supported by University of Staffordshire, is now open for entries.


Hot on the heels of Keele University Events and Conferencing and World of Wedgwood, who won England’s Business Events Venue of the Year and Silver in the International Tourism Award respectively at the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2025, the hunt is on to find this year's best local tourism businesses.


The awards are free to enter, and there are 20 categories, with the local category Food & Drink Retailer / Farm Shop reintroduced for 2026; covering attractions, venues, experiences, accommodation businesses, restaurants, pubs, cafes, and farm shops. Plus, cross-sector categories such as accessibility, regenerative tourism, and international.
