Wishing a Very Happy Mothering Sunday to All Moorland Mums

Today is a day to celebrate and cherish that important person in our lives who, over the years, has supported and championed us beyond measure. Mum, Mother, Mater, Mumsy—whatever your pet name for her, today is her day.

It's a day to honor the amazing job she did in creating you, keeping you alive so far, and helping you become the wonderful person you are today.

Mums come in all forms; mum is as much a role as it is a selection process. However you came to the role, and whatever name you are known as: gran, dad, aunt, today we are enormously grateful for all the work you do in making our society better.

Moms are unsung heroes, often misunderstood, overworked, and under pressure—they wouldn't have it any other way.

Mums prefer phone calls to flowers, a hand with the washing up once a week to a meal out, and a heartfelt thank you to a card. Mothering Sunday, whilst a commercial triumph, doesn't need your money so much as your time and respect. Although a small gift is always welcome too!
