The next free Staffordshire Libraries' Book Chat is taking place online on 30th June 7.30pm - 8.30pm when we'll be joined by a panel of crime authors to chat about their latest novels and inspire your holiday reading!

Carla Kovach is a full-time crime and thriller author living in Worcester with her husband, Nigel and Poppy the cat. Her latest novel ‘The People Next Door’ is a page-turning rollercoaster of a psychological thriller that readers are calling ‘pulse-pounding and unpredictable’.

Skylar Warren is a Chicago native. ‘Murder with a side of Shrimp and Grits’ is an unputdownable and addictive cozy mystery full of Southern charm, a gripping whodunnit and a feisty amateur sleuth. It’s perfect for fans of Agatha Christie, Ellery Adams and Joanne Fluke

Matt Dunn is the author of numerous novels, including the bestselling The Ex-Boyfriend's Handbook (which was shortlisted for both the RNA Romantic Novel of the Year Award and the Melissa Nathan Award for Comedy Romance). ‘The Armchair Detectives’ is the first in a new series of humorous British cosy crime novels featuring Martin Maxwell: octogenarian, dog lover and amateur sleuth.

Just click here to take part in the chat on the night. The link will open to MSTeams which can be accessed through your internet browser. No booking required.
