A major investment in one of Staffordshire's key development sites and a rise in visitor numbers demonstrate key areas of growth.

Martin Murray, the county council's cabinet member for economy and skills, said that the value of Staffordshire's visitor economy is up 30% compared to pre-pandemic levels and is now valued at over £2.7 bn a year.
Staffordshire County Council's economic lead has said that Carlsberg Britvic's new £4m depot at the West Midlands Interchange will bring hundreds of jobs and many opportunities to the supply chain. Situated in close proximity to two of the UK’s most important transport routes, the West Coast Mainline rail freight route and the M6 motorway (Junction 12) make WMI an ideal location for logistics-focused operators.
