Pride in the Moorlands Weekend Announced

Pride in the Moorlands 2026 is to take place this year on the 26th –28th of June. A spectacular weekend is promised for this community-let LGBTQ+ celebration of life, creativity and joy across the Staffordshire Moorlands. 


Pride in the Moorlands Weekend Announced

You can - follow the Pride Torch Relay as it travels through Cheadle, Biddulph and Leek, symbolising unity, visibility and pride, before culminating in a full day of celebration in Leek on Sunday 28th June.


Across the weekend, expect a brilliant programme of live music and performances, creative workshops, family-friendly activities, drag and dance, and community events. Highlights include a Pride Parade through Leek led by Punjabi Roots, performances from brass bands and choirs, and headline acts including the Big Fatt Dance Party featuring Ginny Lemon. The Foxlowe Arts Centre Pride exhibition will also run throughout the day.

Volunteer Shout-Out

Organisers are looking for a brilliant team of volunteers to help bring Pride in the Moorlands 2026 to life.


Roles include stewarding, traffic management, artist liaison and welcoming visitors – with multiple shifts available on Sunday 28th June in Leek. It’s a great way to be part of the celebration, meet new people and support a hugely important community event. Full support will be provided.

Pride Vendor Callout

Organisers inviting applications for non-food stalls at Pride in the Moorlands 2026 in Leek Market Place on Sunday 28 June.


We welcome applications from traders, charities and community groups – particularly those supporting the LGBTQ+ community. Market stalls will be provided.
