Earlier this month The JCB Pothole Pro visited the district to help support crews and bolster highways repairs in the area.
This innovative machine combines cutting, cleaning, and filling functions, enabling quicker and more cost-effective pothole repairs. By reducing repair times and improving road quality, the council aims to deliver better services for residents.
The machine represents a significant step forward in the council’s commitment to maintaining infrastructure and ensuring safer journeys across the county.
It has already visited Hencroft, Badnall Road and Mount Pleasant in Leek and will be making other appearances in the coming months.
