OUTSIDE have been granted another year of funding for Moorlands Creative Projects

We are over the (Cheadle) moon to announce that OUTSIDE has been granted a further year of funding, taking us to March 2026!

We are local residents, working with professional artists, co-curating arts and cultural activities and events, celebrating life in the rural landscapes, villages and market towns of the Moorlands, and seeing the community coming together since we have been actively supporting the area has been incredibly invigorating for all of us. From Cheadle Moon, 24 Doors, and The Festival of Brilliant, we plan on supporting many, many more memorable events into the future (and we’ve already got plenty lined up)!

OUTSIDE is part of the Creative People and Places programme, supported using public funding by the The National Lottery through Arts Council England. Thanks to National Lottery players, Creative People and Places is about more people taking the lead in choosing, creating and taking part in creative and cultural experiences in the places where they live. Since 2012, there have been over 15 million engagements with the CPP programme and 90%* of people who participate in CPP weren’t previously engaging regularly with creativity and culture.
