Man arrested after man stabbed in Biddulph

Saturday 15th March,
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed at a house in Biddulph. We were called at 1.10am this morning (Saturday 15 March) to reports of a burglary at a property on Congleton Road.
A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries to his head, chest and back. A 31-year-old-man, from Congleton, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, aggravated burglary - dwelling and possession of a knife in a public place. He remains in custody. A number of our officers remain in the area to reassure the community.
We would urge anyone with CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the area at the time to get in touch with us.
