We may not have the weather we'd like, but we still have a wonderful event happening in the town today. Much better to don a big coat, grab your brolly, and enjoy some of England's finest rain than look mournfully at the weather from your window or spend your day doomscrolling.
If you venture into town today you can:
See a full-sized Spitfire replica on the market square - just like the one local people purchased for the war effort.
Pick up a copy of the souvenir news of the day
Look out for tiny paratroopers and other gorgeous characters on the High Street
Enjoy family-friendly events with entertainment
