This morning (Wednesday, 20th May 2026), newly elected Cheadle Mayor Phil Routledge was spotted on Cheadle High Street following the official opening of a new store, "Little Dots." Situated in the old Mother Nature building, Little Dots offers sustainable British-made children's clothes and toys. (More to follow.)

Accompanied by his daughter and fellow councillor Zenobia Routledge, Phil stopped for a photo on the Market Square. The Market Square is currently closed, but both the Mayor and Deputy Planning Lead Zenobia hope to see it open again soon.
