The Cheadle area provides numerous opportunities for our seniors, featuring a vibrant pensioners group, u3a, and more. Today, we are pleased to highlight the activities of the Cheadle and District Pensioners Group, a long-standing organisation that offers regular gatherings and organised trips across the country.
Their annual AGM is scheduled for Tuesday, 25th March at 7:00 pm, at the Cheadle Cricket Club on Tean Road. A Fish and Chip supper will be hosted, and they eagerly anticipate welcoming both returning and new members. This year's monthly meetings feature an exciting lineup of speakers, and the trips are visits to Hereford, Llandudno, a Mystery Trip, Southport—with a chance to attend the flower show—and finally, York.
