Communicating across the bliss community

There are currently 27 ways members, experts and the Bliss Team share and exchange information at Find Bliss, we've detailed them here.

Blog posts: Between a 2 and 10 minute read, beautifully presented and with no annoying adverts. They are written by people who have a specific knowledge of their topic. Sometimes the writer will point us towards external places of support, items in the boutique or files we can download. Posts often belong to more than one genre, you'll find them in the Blog area where you can search for a specific topic. Blog posts can include video, image galleries, polls and code, making them powerful spaces to house long-lasting information. Attractive links to products, events etc can be added too. Comments can be enabled or switched off depending on if the post requires further discussion. Blog writers are usually approached by the Bliss Team but if you have something you'd like to share please let us know on the contact us page. We have a framework where we evaluate post suitability, lots of support available if you are successful and guidance with an explanation if you are not on this occasion.

Celebrating You: Here you'll find a reminder why it's important to celebrate, details of the Find Bliss badges, competitions and any awards we are running.

Chat: We have live chat available on the site for members and site visitors who wish to talk directly with the team

Competitions: This space will enable us to host competitions from various partners, just because winning something or taking part can make us feel epic.

Contact Us: On our contact us page you can email us or use the form to communicate anything you wish us to know

Create for Bliss: Want to create something for the Bliss Community? You'll find out how to do that here.

Email: When a new post is created or a newsletter created we email our large mailing list to let them know something blissful has landed.

Events: This is an area we are very keen to grow because we know how important that human connection is. Events can be online or in person and can be chargeable depending on they type of event.

The File Share Directory: Here you'll be able to download artwork, white papers, posters and more which support the topics and genres creating a more rounded blissful experience.

Forum Posts: Short blissful information members and organisations can share quickly and easily from their mobile phone directly to the site or from our spaces app. They are linked to a specific genre, and can include video, audio, links and images. We have categories such as The Big £1 Recipe Share, The Cuppa Club etc. You can search these from the search box on the forum main page or the general search box at the top of every page. Comments again can be switched on or off. Events Products and even code snippets can be included making this a great space for content. There are topic guidelines which we ask all members to adhere to.

Groups: Spaces to get to know members of the community with specific interests. Currently these are set for specific genres but we are always happy to create groups where 3 or more members want them and a reliable moderator is available. Groups are able to add all types of information searchable by topics important to them. This means they don't ever need to lose an important document in an email thread.

The Helpful List: 24/7 nationwide help from professional organisations involved in crisis support

Known Issues: Even a blissful site occasionally glitches, here we'll tell you anything we are currently working to fix. If it's not listed and you have a problem please let us know.

Lightboxes: Occasionally pop-up or lightboxes appear on the site usually anchored to the left side of the page where something can bring big benefits to our members:

News: There are dedicated pages for business and member news. We currently update this each month. We aim to update this at least once a week as the community grows.

Notifications: Members can be informed of new events on site, but can turn notifications if they want to.

Programs Directory: Any programs we are running to help improve life for our members are listed here.

Reception Menu: Find Bliss is a big community and there are lots of things members can do. This is dedicated to members personal experience. It's easy to follow and tells you about your purchases, posts, profile and more.

Register your Business: What to share details of your business with the Bliss Community? Registering your interest will help us bring more blissful moments to our members.

Register your Charity or Group: If you have a service you would like to share with our members, registering with us can help you become part of The Helpful List, Staffordshire Moorlands Services and other spaces.

Social Media: Members can share open posts on their social media to help bring more bliss to the wider world and encourage members in the UK to join the community.

The Bliss Spaces Page: Shows us what genres are available and the main ways to connect with a genre of interest to us.

Bliss Sponsorship: These are our valued supporters who help us do what we do, it's right that we reciprocate their generosity by sharing details of what they do. Sponsorship can be found at the bottom of all our pages.

Staffordshire Moorlands Services: An up to date list of all the services we know about dedicated to helping solve issues with finance in Staffordshire Moorlands (our local area).

The Subscribers Lounge: This is a great starting point for all members to see popular pages and all the genres with links to each space such as the Food Blog, or the Blissful Home Forum.

The Bliss Video Page: This is a space for members to host their know-how videos. We are considering adding a live feature to this in the future if members would find this useful.

Vouchers & Offers: This space is dedicated to helping members save money on things they need.

Weather Watch: The weather can be important to our activities here you'll find the weather for your area and some blissful pictures too.
