On Saturday, the 8th of June Cheadle town Centre hosted its first classic car and scooter show.
There was excellent live music throughout the day and a free funfair and face painting.
Well attended by residents, visitors and exhibitors. The Sun shone and people smiled.
I was fortunate enough to man the car park and meet many of the classic cars and their owners. Everyone I spoke with enjoy the event and would like to come to another.
Cars and scooters were judged by show organiser Tony and District Council Head Ian Plant. I can only imagine how difficult it must’ve been to judge because there was so many worthy winners. it was particularly brilliant because many of the cars are locally owned. Thank you to everyone who took part in making this day something special.
The Lincoln Continental was the winning car, with the hydraulic suspension, and that of its neighbouring Buick causing delight for many visitors.
