Staffordshire Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Leek. Officers were called at 1:20 am today (Thursday, 29 January) to Asda on Springfield Road following reports of a burglary.

The suspects took an ATM using a piece of plant machinery before leaving the scene in two Nissan pickups. All the vehicles involved had been reported as stolen on Tuesday, 27 and Wednesday, 28 January. 


The two Nissans were later found burnt out on Tongue Lane, Brown Edge, at around 2:15 am. 


Officers are continuing to investigate and urge anyone who saw what happened or those who may have relevant CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage to get in touch.
